EPL Transfers Wrap-Up

Winner - Birmingham City - They brought in 3 top class players at bargain basement prices, and sent a miserable one out on loan. He might be a reject of top teams, but Alex Hleb is a fantastic player who can influence games. Chilean Striker Jean Beausejour and Martin Jiranek should also immensely help the club possibly even push for a Europa league position.

Other Notables - Manchester City, Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur - Tottenham signed one of my absolute favorite players in Rafael Van der Vaart, who in addition to being a phenomenal player, is a top class person and a Dutch icon. Newcastle got Hatem Ben-Arfa, a rising young striker on loan, and Man City didn't necessarily sign anyone fantastic, but they transferred out their 250,000 pound/week headache more commonly known as Robinho.
